Children who, simply because of their disabilities, are unable to go out, study, or find employment.
Some children, due to poverty, cannot afford a wheelchair and spend their days simply looking at the television or ceiling, unable to even get out of bed. They neither attend school nor find employment, leading to a life of isolation from society.
A properly fitted wheelchair can open up a future for these children.
With government aid, children are sometimes given adult-sized wheelchairs that don’t fit their bodies and end up being wasted.
By delivering wheelchairs that suit each individual’s body, WAFCA realizes freedom of mobility and creates an opportunity to change the future of children. In addition, to ensure that patients can continue to use wheelchairs, we provide continuous follow-up through eight steps based on WHO guidelines.
